Well, failure on my part!

So, obviously life has been busy!! Not that it is any excuse, but here's what been happening in the last few weeks!!

-Lots of doctors appointments just to make sure I'm doing ok! :(
-We found out that Allen will be leaving for sure to go to Japan to help with the Earthquake/Tsunami Relief effort, so we have been spending AS MUCH time as possible together!! We have had a wedding, trip to the aquarium, trip to Dallas, 10K, picnics, etc. crammed in, so there will be TONS of pictures as soon as I can catch a breath!! I get to say goodbye later this weekend and then he will be shipping out for Japan Tuesday afternoon for about a month, coming back to Shaw Air Force Base in SC for debriefing, grief counseling (lots of hard things he will be seeing in Japan as you all are aware :( ), and I get to come and visit for a couple of days towards the end of May!! Then, he will be leaving for March Riverside Air Force Base in Riverside, CA, outside of San Diego to start his Special Tactics training (and that's as much as I know about that!). Crazy...
-I have decided to take a little bit more time on school and finish my masters of cell and molecular biology and then apply to Physician Assistant School. At first my MSCMB was just a gateway into the PA program because I needed a few more classes that I didn't get from Rockhurst and my life was so crazy that I wanted to make sure I was healthy enough to handle an intense 2-year didactic and clinical program. So, as the plans go now, I will take classes this summer and every semester until May 2012, apply for PA schools that spring/summer, and hope to start summer of 2012, right before or after the wedding! However, if I decide I would like to stay at Missouri State, the start date will be Jan 2013 for that, so I may be taking a semester off and being with Allen after I am married, which also sounds AMAZING!!!!!! Actually, it sounds even better! :)
-Work has been crazy but honestly not too busy. Just umping games as they call me in! A little extra money, and then looking for clinical jobs on top of my clinical shifts for PA School hours!! Unfortunately, those are unpaid.
-Seeing family and friends as much as possible!!

So that's what has been going on in my life! I should start this 30 day challenge up again, and I will definitely try. This weekend consists of celebrating my birthday/mom and dad's anniversary with my family and seeing my boy, so it's a great weekend!! :) Hope you are all having just as great of a weekend, and sorry again for my delay in writing! I will try to get better!!

Take care,
-Gennie
